I don't know where to start...delicious, healthy, and very filling food for only $10 a box?!?!?! Where can we find that nowadays? Shirley, the owner and chef, is so amazing! She makes the most delicious bento boxes and I always feel so stuffed and have leftovers. Today, she was sold out of bento boxes so I got the rice noodle which was also so filling. I get 2 meals out of 1 box, which means each meal is only $5. That's unheard of, even at fast food places! I'd highly recommend checking this restaurant out. It's one of my favorite go-to places. It's take-out only.
This is definitely my go-to place for delicious vegetarian bento box. The owner is a like an Asian mom cooking lunch for her children, so she makes sure to fill in every bento box to the maximum capacity, sometimes until the lid cannot be closed. She rotates different dishes every day so you won't know what is in the bento box until you get it. I can taste the feeling of home in her cooking. She uses only quality ingredients such as 5-grain rice and all the dishes are healthy and not greasy. She's working alone, so she's the chef as well as the cashier. It's not easy for her to run this small place and only charge a meager $10 per bento box after tax. Where else can you find such a great deal in LA County nowadays? Definitely go and support this mom-and-pop shop and don't let it go out of business! P/S: she also gave me a free bento box of fried glass noodles because she said I must be very tired at my work since she wants to make sure she gets my dinner covered too. So lovely!
Excellent vegan choice . The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. I love her food very much. The restaurant is small but very clean. Her lunch box is my favorite.
Vegetarian bento boxes. The portion was huge. Each lunch box was $8 and was filled with lots of veggies and purple rice. There were two options available the day I went and both were delicious.
I love coming here whenever I'm craving for a vegetarian bento. It comes with healthy purple rice and multiple dishes that change every time. $9/box. They also sell other frozen foods that you can purchase. Weekends they don't have bento boxes and on weekdays it is best you drop by early to avoid sell out. I also enjoy their mung bean pastey which I usually purchase around Mid Autumn Moon Festival.
